About the Account

Now, you can continue with the next verification process.
- Identity verification: You must have your ID or any documentation that certifies who you are, such as a passport. Go to the [My identity] tab and select [Verify]. Enter your name and surname, your country of residence, and your date of birth, then select [Continue].
- Three documentation options will show up that you can use to carry out the identification process (passport, driver’s license, ID). By choosing one of them, you will be able to continue with the process on your computer or through your mobile phone using a secure link. Select [Continue on the phone] and then select [Get secure link]. It will generate a QR code that you can scan to continue the process more comfortably on your smartphone.
- The secure link will take you to the identity verification and biometric security process on the Mati platform. Follow each of the steps when prompted by the application and without closing the Ccoins pages in your browser.
- Once you have sent the photograph of the selected documentation and one of your profiles within the application, you can continue with the process on your computer, where a message with the security configuration awaits you. At this time, your identity information is being analyzed; later, you will receive an email notification concerning the status of the analysis.
- Now, we will configure two-factor authentication, which is an extra security system for your account. You must click on [Continue] in the message that appeared at the end of step number 9 to configure your second authentication factor. You must use a specialized and safe application for this process. If you already have a 2FA application, just skip this step and select [Ok, I already have the 2FA application on my cell phone]. If you don’t have a 2FA app yet, in this step, we will explain how to obtain it.
- Once the 2FA application is obtained, the system will generate a QR code that you can scan with your 2FA application. Once the code has been scanned, your Ccoins account and your 2FA application are linked, and your application will start generating codes indicating that the link is Complete. Our system will ask you for your application’s code to finish the process. Enter the code and select [Verify and continue].
- Once your 2FA application is linked and verified, the system will generate a series of 10 codes that you must save safely, as any of these codes allow you to regain access to your account if you lose or replace your cell phone. Once the codes are saved, select [Ok, I already saved my recovery codes].
- A message will appear indicating that your account is now more secure. Select [Continue] to proceed to create your username.
- Remember that your username does not have to be your real name, but you can enter it if you wish. Just keep in mind that this username cannot be changed later. Select [Save], and you’re done! You now have a Ccoins account where you can create your offers or accept an offer that interests you.

- Go to the [Filters and blocked addresses] tab. Click [Create a new filter].
- Copy and paste the official Ccoins email addresses into the [From] field, for example, (support@ccoins.io)
- Click [Create filter].
- Check the box next to [Never spam] and click [Create filter].
To change the phone number that you linked when registering for Ccoins, just login to your Ccoins account.
- Go to [Settings] of the account and select [Verification].
- Go to [Phone number] and select [Change].
- A tab will open where you can select the country of the telephone code. Enter the new telephone number and enter the code of our 2FA.
- Select [Change phone number].
Any user who wishes to end their stay with Ccoins can do so by canceling their account on our platform. Just login to your Ccoins account and:
- Go to [Settings] account and select [Security].
- Go to [Close account] and select [Close my account].
When a user decides to close their account with Ccoins, a process of deletion of the user’s data is carried out. Data the user entered at the time of registration are deleted from our database. This data deletion will occur 30 days after requesting the closure of the account, but some specific data referring to the user’s transactional information cannot be eliminated, for example, exchange data with other users and records of internal financial movements on the platform.
This information has been assimilated with that of other users with whom you have made exchanges or is required by Ccoins for internal audits.
To disable the 2FA (second authentication factor) that you linked when registering in Ccoins, just login to your Ccoins account.
- Go to [Settings] of the account and select [Security].
- Go to [Authentication application] and select [Configure].
- A tab will open where you can choose to disable 2FA, and it will ask for the code of the second authentication factor linked at the time of registration.
- Select [Accept].

To activate notifications by Telegram for your P2P events, just login to your Ccoins account.
- Go to [Settings] of the account and select [P2P Preferences].
- Select [P2P Notifications] and select [Activate Telegram].

If you try to access your account and the account has been temporarily blocked, a message appears. This is due to incorrect use of the access credentials, and for security reasons, Ccoins blocks access to accounts when a user has erred more than three times in the access data to the account. To regain access, Ccoins will send an email with the account unlocking process, and you must follow the steps indicated in the email to be able to unlock your account. In Ccoins, we know how annoying it is to deal with users who do not respect the exchange schedule, who try, in some way, to detract from the security of the exchanges, or who are simply not responsible in their publications. Therefore, we implemented a user blocking button to omit the blocked user’s information. That is, if you block a user, you will not be able to see that user’s profile or offers, nor will that user be able to see your future offers.
